Training outside! We have a way for that!

It is said that there is no bad weather, only bad clothing. And we totally agree with that! We love to engage in sports outdoors, not just in the summer. In winter, we choose skiing, in spring jogging or long walks, but summer... That's the real season! Spending time in the fresh air and sunshine provides our body with vitamin D, which we've been lacking in recent months. Besides that, we oxygenate our brain and positively influence the functioning of our muscles. In summer, we have a sea of activities to choose from, so we are sure that after today's post, you will spend your next workout outside. Bet? :)

Let's start with reminding about the classics that are good for everything. First up is running! It is a form of endurance exercise. Not only does it wonderfully affect our figure, posture, and burn calories, but it also positively influences the condition of our heart and blood vessels. It has been scientifically proven that running helps not only to maintain physical health but, above all, mental health. It makes you resilient to stress, improves mood, and facilitates falling asleep.

However, heat does not help with running training. The optimal temperature for distance running is 12-17 degrees Celsius.

When heading for such training, make sure to wear appropriate clothing. Besides comfortable sportswear, be sure to wear sports sunglasses and never forget about a head covering. Bring a bottle of water with you, and treat your body with sunscreen with SPF.

Evening training works well here too, when the air is fresher. Highly recommended! :)

If running doesn't convince you, how about yoga? Yoga, besides beautifully stretching and elongating our entire body, also exercises our concentration. Additionally, it's a wonderful way to relax, escape from everyday life, and feel free - especially when we talk about training outdoors.

The practice of yoga brings us closer to nature, releases endorphins, and at the same time calms and soothes.

Outdoor yoga is recommended for everyone. Also for older people and kids! However, whether you will enjoy this type of effort depends on your level of concentration. But if you only feel that it's something for you, we cheer you on!

What distinguishes outdoor yoga practice from that done at home is primarily that it is more free, focused, relaxed, and incredibly joyful. You can really practice anywhere you find a piece of space. However, we encourage training in the park and on the beach. Bring a mat, find the perfect spot, and start!

If it's summer, then it's water. And if it's water, then it's swimming! Training in the water brings wonderful benefits. First of all, of course, it burns calories. In addition, it positively affects the joints and the respiratory system. It stimulates the circulatory system, improves endurance, movement coordination, and corrects posture defects. In the summer, instead of an indoor pool, opt for an outdoor pool, or meet with nature - lakes and seas are at your disposal. One huge advantage of such exercises is also the fact that the water makes the exercises easier. Water increases buoyancy, which allows us to do more than during classic land training. Besides classic water training, which is swimming, consider group exercises. Nowadays, we have not only Aqua Aerobics from the 90s to choose from, but also Aqua Zumba, Water Yoga, or Spinning (training on bikes) in the water.

An ideal way to train for people in a constant rush is... cycling! Instead of standing in traffic jams or using crowded public transport, hop on a bike. Go for a longer ride, or just jump out for lunch with a friend. The first thing you'll notice is that cycling wonderfully strengthens the calf and thigh muscles! Additionally, cycling increases lung capacity, and the entire circulatory system works much more efficiently. It positively affects the joints and tones the body. Do we need to convince you further? :)

These are just a few basic workouts you can do by stepping out of the house. However, you don't have to limit yourself because almost any type of activity can be done outdoors. And that's another huge plus of summer. Take advantage of the beautiful weather, and if the thought of a solitary workout in nature makes you uneasy, invite a friend, sister, or partner to exercise together. Train and have fun!
