Your great FIT vacation! Is it possible?

We hope that this year's vacation will be unforgettable! Full of beautiful beaches, exotic landscapes and… delicious food. Is it even possible to stay fit during a holiday?! And what about the best ice creams and workouts when the ocean is outside the window and it's +35 degrees? We have prepared some tips for you that will make your vacation easier with a 'clear mind'. Read on! 

Girls, the first and most universal tip is that the world won't collapse if we 'chill out' for 2 weeks. If you prefer to spend your vacation lounging by the pool with your favorite drink and a book in hand, GO FOR IT! Spend your holiday however you like. Have fun, try local delicacies, party, relax. After all, even lying flat burns calories! ;)

On the other hand, it's worth remembering a few simple habits that can make our vacation both stress-free and quite fit.

  1. Simply - WATER!

Just entering the sea burns about 100 kcal. Walking in the water and jumping over waves burns about 350 kcal per hour, and swimming up to 400. Plus, just walking on the beach burns 300 kcal per hour, and we're home! A lot of calories burned totally effortlessly and how pleasant it is!

Simply being in the water is super enjoyable (especially during hot vacations), so we're sure it will also be an amazing relaxation. 

 

2. Beach Sports!

Not only swimming in the sea but also a lot of other summer pleasures. Let's start with beach volleyball, which burns over 500 kcal per hour. And how much fun it is! Meanwhile, running along the beach (we recommend in the morning or evening) burns up to 450 kcal per hour! 

If this form of training doesn’t convince you, check if the hotel where you're staying during your vacation has its own gym. Bring a friend, partner, or anyone you spend your vacation with - it will be more fun! And after the gym, it's time for a delicious dinner!

 

3. What about pleasures?

We can't imagine a successful vacation without delicious ice creams! If you're counting calories or care about low-energy dishes, instead of creamy heavy ice creams, opt for fruity sorbets. One serving is only about 40-50 kcal! This won't affect your daily balance, so… enjoy! 

 

4. Rest… 

This is also important! In fact, on vacation, it's even the most important. So just relax. Read a book that you've never had time for, sleep in as long as you want, or scroll through Instagram for an hour if you feel like it. Don't put pressure on yourself. The vacation is for you, not you for the vacation, so spend it in a way that allows you to relax the most!

 

5. Evening walk

Exploring new places and wandering aimlessly through unfamiliar towns and resorts is definitely one of our favorite ways to spend evenings during vacation. After an intense day at the beach, a refreshing shower, and a delicious dinner, go for an evening walk. Let it be your vacation ritual! Stroll around the town, observe the locals, look for interesting restaurants and taverns that are not in the guidebooks, and enjoy the moment all to yourself! Plus, it's a great way to get some exercise. :)
